Lodging: Boarding house Javorina Čičmany

The pension Javorina is a reconstructed folk loghouse, which can provide you with the accommodation either in 2, 3 or 4 beds rooms. There is a restaurant in the pension (with the capacity of 44 seats) providing the whole day boarding. During the summer seasons you are given an opportunity to taste our culinary specialties on a terrace, having a grill and a live music. For relaxing during nice evenings with a beautiful atmosphere you can enjoy our other facilities, such as a characterful wine cellar (with the capacity of 45 seats), with a fireplace, billiards, or a table football and electronic darts. In the relaxation part of the pension you are kindly offered to use our sauna, jacuzzi, massages and a fitness studio. The village Čičmany is a distinctive Slovak Village, which has been proclaimed a national treasure of the folks architecture. Marvellous hand-painted log houses and cottages, beautiful folk costumes and embroidery are very representative for this part of Slovakia and Middle Europe, as well. The village of Čičmany is situated in Strovsk Vrchy (in the mountains), which are attractive for lovers of nature during all the seasons. Mountbikers can discover new routes not only for the beginners, but also for the advanced and demanding cyclists. When walking here, you will be surprised by an untouched countryside with lots of delicious berries and healing herbs.
