Smižany village is also a good starting point for trips to cultural and historical monuments of the Gothic way of Spis (Markušovce, Levoca, Spis Castle), water sports, cycling and visiting thermal pools and Vrbov AquaCity.

Hanka is the most lovely lady and she keeps the accommodation impeccable. When staying here it feels like being at home. The rooms are a perfect size with an ensuite and there is a big beautiful garden with a pool, trampoline, seating area and barbeque. The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Very peaceful which is great for getting a good nights sleep. Great for couples, solo travellers, groups or families. Smižany has good transportation to get around the area. Overall, I loved this place.
