Both cottages are located in the newly opened part of the area of the thermal swimming pool VADAŠ Štúrovo near the lake and the wave pool. They are located in a pleasant and quiet environment with a view of the swimming pool area and the Basilica in Ostrihom. The lake offers water cycling, boating and fishing (possibility of buying a fishing license and renting a fishing rod). In the area of the swimming pool there is the largest swimming pool in Slovakia - Lagúna with an area of 3800 m2, 6 other pools, an indoor swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, mini golf, beach volleyball, a go-kart track and many buffets.

 

Various dance events with large-scale projection are held in the nearby garden restaurant. The novelty of 2009 was the boring beach open behind the indoor swimming pool. In 2010, a large stainless steel Relax pool was added, which was created on the site of the former Delfín pool. It contains 16 relaxing underwater loungers, two massage benches and two water spouts that will pleasantly massage your back and tired shoulders. The entire area of the pool area was rebuilt from concrete to interlocking paving, which is less slippery and significantly more pleasant for bare feet. Also, all wading areas of the pool area were rebuilt and equipped with stainless steel tubs with an anti-slip layer. The sanitary facilities in the premises have also been renovated and modern equipment offers more comfortable toilets and showers for guests (including wheelchair users).

 

New entertainment options are offered by water aerobics (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Hviezda pool) and aquazorbing (walking on water in an inflatable ball in the Lagúna pool). In 2011, the toboggan world was added. You will find everything here: a spinning toboggan, a super-fast one, a nimble one, but also a slower one. You can slide with or without rubber wheels. The water slides are 9 meters high and their total length is over 300m. The longest toboggan is the Anaconda, the fastest is the Shark, there is also the wavy Camel, the playful Crocodile or the iridescent Waterspout. So far, the last year of changes was 2012, when the Hviezda pool underwent a complete renovation - now it is covered with soft blue rubber and in its center is a large coconut palm tree with snakes spouting water. Water is also poured from coconuts, and additional water spouts have been added on one side of the pool (including areas with pearl massage).

 

In 2014, 2 new water slides, a completely rebuilt children's pool, etc. were added to the swimming pool.

 

Since 2018, you will also find a newly opened wellness center with an interior inspired by nature, which offers a great opportunity to relax physically and mentally from the daily hustle and bustle. The wellness center with a total area of 900m2 has three pools with thermal water, a jacuzzi with an exclusive view of the Ostrihom basilica, a sauna world (steam, infrared and Finnish sauna), a salt cabin and experience showers with light and sound therapy to achieve perfect relaxation.

 

In 2020, the Oáza pool with an area of 1145m2 was added with various attractions (water volleyball and basketball, circular route with flowing water, possibility of sunbathing on artificial grass).

 

Each of the cottages contains two 6-bed rooms (on the ground floor, 1 bunk bed and 4 single beds) and two 5-bed rooms (on the first floor, 5 single beds) with separate entrances. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen (including fridge with freezer, microwave oven, two-plate cooker, kettle, dishes, cutlery...), bed linen, clothes dryer and LCD TV with a diagonal of 60 cm with the option playing files directly from a USB stick. The rooms on the first floor are equipped with automatic air conditioning with remote control, the ground floor rooms have a large rotating fan. From the 2023 season, the beds have completely new mattresses for a super sleep, and the bathrooms have completely new designer showers.

 

In one cottage there is also a smaller room designed for two people - it has one extended bed (approx. 130 cm), a column fan, a sink, a toilet (under the table), a fully equipped kitchen (including a fridge with a freezer, a microwave oven, a two-plate cooker, an electric kettle , dishes, cutlery...), bed linen, clothes dryer and LCD TV with a diagonal of 60 cm with the possibility of playing files directly from a USB stick. It does not have a shower. It is smaller, but cozy. As for showering, the public showers (really very nice and clean) are at the swimming pool.

 

The interior of the cottages is made entirely of wood. All windows (including bathrooms) have wood-colored insect screens.

 

At the cottages there are covered benches and tables (separately for each room) for evening sittings. Each of the cottages has mobile grills with grilling accessories. The surroundings of the cottages are planted with grass and trees, parking lots for cars filled with gravel. The cottages also include children's playgrounds with ladders, a net, swings and a slide.

 

Both cottages have central television distribution (digital reception of STV1, STV2, RTVS 24, JOJ, JOJ PLUS, WAU and RTVS SPORT).

 

Both cottages have Wi-Fi internet coverage (of course free of charge).

 

50 m from the cottages is a restaurant where you can eat well and cheaply, order half and full board for cheap, or just sit with a beer. There is also a small shop with the usual assortment.
